Obituary of William Donaldson Birse
Bill Birse of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at the age of 76 years.
Bill loved to fish, hunt and spend special times with his family. One of his favourite times of the year was Christmas. Bill’s family meant the world to him and his love was unconditional. He was a man of integrity, honesty and generosity. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. Bill’s working career began with Daily Oil Bulletin as editor until 1967 when he left to begin his dream of Birse Data Services which he operated until his retirement in 1991.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Rosemary (nee Rafferty); son Randy (Claudette) and their children, Jeremy (Allison), Andrew (Cheryl-Ann), Martin; son Mike (Anita) and their children, Clayton (Kendra), Brittney (Jon), and Cody; son Tim (Ann); daughter Judy (Rob) and their children, Chris, Shaundra (Vince), Jeff (Jessica); son Dan (Donna) and their children, Chelsie, Billy, Nathan; and great-grandchildren, Hayden, Haylee and Noah.
Bill was always quick with a joke, but he sure could bluff you out of a royal flush.
We will miss you Dad
and we’ll have our loving memories forever!
Heaven just got a whole lot better!
