Obituary of Stanley Edmund Murray

Stanley Edmund Murray passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at the age of 91 years. Stan was born in Calgary and lived in Melville, Yorkton and Regina Saskatchewan. He moved to Calgary in 1956 then to Edmonton and back to Calgary where he spent the remainder of his days. Stan is survived by his daughter Carol Morris; his sons, David, Allen (Laurie Galloway), and Robert; six grandchildren, Donna (Frank Hennessey), Leigh (Carolyn Terakita), Diane, Rob, Katie, and Scott; and by five great-grandchildren. He will also be remembered by his sister Dorothy McCartney of Vancouver, BC and by his nieces and nephews. Stan was predeceased by his wife of sixty years, Enid, his sister Marguerite Elliott, and his son-in-law Al Morris. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 10:00 a.m..
