Obituary of Roy Shannon

Roy Elliot Shannon, beloved husband of Gloria of Calgary, passed away suddenly at his home, September 8, 2007 at the age of 71 years. Roy was a chartered accountant and the CFO of Aqua-Pure Ventures of Calgary. He was a loving father, an avid fisherman, an outdoorsman, an entrepreneur, a loving and humourous man, and a generous man who spent many hours giving back to those who had helped him throughout his life. He is survived by his wife Gloria, his children Mark (Lorna), Elizabeth (David), Matthew, Anne Marie (James), Mary (John) and Peter (Megan). He is also survived by his loving grandchildren; Larissa, Morgan, Jalen, Isabella and Alexandra, and also by numerous extended family, close friends and colleagues.
