Obituary of Frank William Gough

Frank William Gough, beloved husband of Jean of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at the age of 75 years. Frank was born December 13, 1931 in Okotoks, Alberta. He grew up in Midnapore and received his education at Lacombe Home. Frank was a plumber and gas fitter by trade. In his earlier years Frank travelled the world while serving in the Navy and the Reserves. In the latter part of his career he was self employed and installed well heads for the oil and gas industry. Frank spent many happy years at Chestermere Lake while building his dream home. Frank worked hard all his life, but always found time to entertain family and friends and was always there to lend a hand when needed. Besides his loving wife Jean, Frank is also survived by his stepchildren Lynn and Maynard Witzaney, Debbie Mulgrew and Bryan Mulgrew; brothers Harold and Walter; sisters Bernice Williamson, Sister Francis Gough, Muriel (Al) Devitt and Eileen (Cookie) Gough; sister-in-law Shirley Gough as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his Mother Meta, Father Vivian; brother Patrick and sister Kathleen Halford. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church (321 – 90th Avenue S.E.) on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
