Obituary of Beverley Gail Symanczyk

Beverley (Bev) Symanczyk passed away on September 6, 2007 after a battle with cancer. Bev was born in Kerrobert, SK to Arthur and Joyce Reiber, and attended school in Luseland, SK. After graduation, Bev moved to Saskatoon where she met her future husband Allen. They were married in Luseland on June 8, 1969, and had two sons, Geoffrey and Timothy. Bev and Allen have lived in Calgary since 1973. Bev was very active in volunteer work with her two favourite charities- the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of Canada, and the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF). Bev will be sadly missed by her husband Allen and sons Geoffrey (Melissa) and Timothy. She is also survived by her mother Joyce Reiber; brothers Terry (Alberta), Rick (Donna), Collin (Lana) and Gordie; sister Tracey (Peter); and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Arthur. A Celebration of Bev’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
