Obituary of Richard Wilson

It is with great sadness that we announce that Richard (Rick) Allan Wilson, of Calgary, passed away peacefully, in the company of his family, on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at the age of 60 years. Rick was born on September 13, 1946 in Regina, SK. He was the gold medalist in his graduating year from UNB Law School, obtained his Masters Degree in Law at Harvard University in 1971, and practised law in Calgary for thirty-five years. Rick’s passions in life were family and friends, travel, golf, and anything and everything Irish. He also maintained a deep religious faith and a profound devotion to the Catholic Church. He will be remembered for his sharp mind, quick wit, generous spirit, and love for his family and friends. Rick will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Kristin Carlsson; son-in-law Tony Carlsson; grandsons, Simon and Jonah Carlsson, and his brother Bob Wilson. He is also survived by his niece, Lauren, nephew Stephen as well as numerous cousins, aunts, and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents Chris and Louise Wilson.
