Obituary of Douglas Doug Allan Johnston

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas Allan Johnston on Friday, August 31st, 2007. Surrounded by his loving family, Doug succumbed to illness at the Foothills Medical Centre at the age of 53. Doug will be missed by his beloved wife, Jeanie; two brothers, Ron and Garry; sisters Val, Emma, and Theresa; his father and stepmother, Don and Esther; three step-daughters, Lori, Tammy, and Rhonda; grand-daughter, Brittany; and his aunts, uncle and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy in 1976. Funeral Services will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church (903 – 75th Avenue S.W.) on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. A Family Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2007. The family is grateful to the physicians and staff at Unit’s 36 and 37 of the Foothills Medical Centre for their kindness, care and compassion.
