Obituary of Peggy Sadler

With loving memories, Lawrence, Dawn, Marj and Toots announce the passing of their mother Peggy, at Bow View Manor, Calgary, on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at the age of 89 years. Peggy was raised in the Hervey District. She and her late husband, Bill, farmed for many years near Strathmore and the horse ranching area of Red Deer Lake. Mom and her friends were heritage prairie women whose strong work ethic contributed to the success of our Alberta farms. Peggy is fondly remembered by her family for her kindness, unwavering love and guidance. Peggy is survived by Lawrence Sadler (Beth), Gillian, Greg, Pam and Kristy; Dawn Grandin (Ron), Brian, Brent, Kent and Gary; Marj Moon (Alex), Kelly, Erin and Eric; and Toots Hutchins (Ted), Wil, Leanna, and Ben. She is also survived by fourteen delightful great-grandchildren; and her special friends Mag Gilkes and Eileen Kent. Peggy was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1971, her five siblings and her mother Dorothy McKibbin. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
