Obituary of Jason Lepke

Jason Lepke of Calgary passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at the age of 27 years. Jason was born in Calgary on March 8, 1980. He attended Ranchland Community School and Senator Patrick Burns Middle School graduating from Sir Winston Churchill High School in 1998. Jay’s passion in life was break dancing, teaching and inspiring young people in the Hip-Hop community. Recently, Jay started to work for Enmax, where he was about to begin his apprenticeship as a lineman. Jay was a gifted athlete especially in martial arts and most recently playing hockey with Enmax. He had a great sense of humour and loved to be with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. Jason will be remembered by his father Percy; his sister Courtney Ayley; girlfriend Leanne Wong; several aunts, uncles and cousins in New York; as well as all his boys in Calgary. He was predeceased by his mother Hyacinth in 2003.
