Obituary of Robyn Lackey

Robyn Lee Lackey, formerly of Calgary, passed away suddenly at her home in Victoria, BC on Friday, August 24, 2007 at the age of 44 years. Robyn was born December 8, 1962 in Calgary. She worked in the family restaurant business, Glenn’s Restaurant, until 1990 when she opened Glenn’s Jobsite Pub. Robyn moved to Victoria in 2005 to be close to the ocean. She loved sports, especially the Calgary Flames and enjoyed worshiping at Harvest Hills Alliance Church. Robyn is survived by her daughters, Kristin Lackey-Gabriel and Kelsy Gabriel of Calgary; parents Glenn and Vi Lackey of Calgary; two brothers, Claire Lackey of Medicine Hat and Kelly Lackey of Calgary; sister Jacqueline (Frank) Troughton of Calgary; nephew Zachary Terlier and niece Courtney Lackey. She was predeceased by a niece, Tamerra Lackey. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow in Rocky View Garden of Peace.
