Obituary of Carmine Fruncillo

Carmine Fruncillo, beloved husband of Vittoria Fruncillo of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2007 at the age of 68 years. Carmine was born January 2, 1939 in Forino, Avellino, Italy, and immigrated to Canada on May 12, 1970. He married Vittoria Posata on August 29, 1970 in Calgary. Besides his loving wife, Vittoria, Carmine is also survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law Rino and Chiara of Calgary and Mark of Calgary. Carmine is also survived by his two brothers and a sister-in-law Domenico of Torino, Italy and Paolo and Luigina of Forino, Italy; as well as a nephew Carmine and Iole Fruncillo and family of Calgary; and many other nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Carmine owned and operated Carmen’s Stucco, to which he was very dedicated, from 1974 until the time of his death. His son Rino, who was a partner with Carmine since 2001, will continue to operate the Company. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (Corner of 4th Street and Northmount Drive N.W.) on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow in St. Joseph’s Section at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
