Obituary of Peter John Pemberton Kemp

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter Kemp who died while hiking in the upper Kananaskis, on Friday, August 24, 2007. Peter is survived by his beloved wife and dearest friend, Dr. Mary Mahon; his darling daughters, Rosemary Kemp and Morgan Power-Lesov; beloved son William; mother Avril Kemp [née Dell] of Hamilton, ON; and his sister Susan Watson (Paul). Peter was predeceased by his father Donald Kemp. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his many close friends and extended family. A professional Engineer, Peter’s quiet wit and professional integrity will be sorely missed by his colleagues at Altalink. Peter died hiking the mountains he loved and for that the family is grateful.
