Obituary of June Ragan Hornby

June R. Hornby (nee Ragan) of Calgary passed away peacefully on August 26, 2007 at the age of 86 years. June was born in Big Valley Alberta in 1921. She served overseas with the RCAF for two and a half years during the Second World War. She subsequently met and married Doug Hornby in 1947 who predeceased her in 1973. She was a devoted, proud mother and grandmother. June is survived by her children, Doug (Kathy), Mike, Jack (Paulette), Jim (Debbie), Ken and Beth (Ian); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. June is also survived by her sister Helen. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. At June’s request, family and friends are invited to an informal celebration of her life at Glenmore Gardens, 2105 – 90 Avenue S.W. on Saturday, September 22, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
