Obituary of James Richard Davison
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Richard (Dick) Davison of Calgary on Friday, August 24, 2007 at the age of 79 years.
Born in Ballymena, Ireland on March 27, 1928, Dick immigrated to Calgary on June 29, 1957 with his new bride Eileen. He was a proud member of the Calgary Police Service from 1957 until his retirement in 1983. Dick is survived by his loving children, Michael and Debbra, Peter and Karen; grandson Sean and wife Megan; sister Claire Lanning; extended family in Canada and Ireland; and many adoring grandpets. He was predeceased by his wife Eileen and granddaughter Linsey.
A Celebration of Dick’s Life will be held at Red Deer Lake United Church (West on Highway #22x past Spruce Meadows) on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
