Obituary of Shirley Ruth McDonald

Shirley Ruth McDonald passed away on August 23, 2007 at the age of 79 years. Shirley was born in Calgary, AB and grew up in Turner Valley, AB. She and Doug were married in 1949, living in Calgary, Leduc and retiring to Cochrane to be closer to family. Shirley is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Rick and Sandy; her daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Jim Holmberg, all of Cochrane, AB. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Jaime and Chris McDonald, Michael, David, and Kate Holmberg. Shirley was predeceased by her husband Doug in 1997.
