Obituary of Deirdre Hilary Meagher

Deirdre (Dee) Meagher (nee Griffiths), beloved wife of Jim Meagher of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at the age of 65 years. Dee was born in Sidcup Kent, U.K. and emigrated from England to Canada in 1955. She and Jim were married on October 15, 1982. Besides her loving husband Jim, Dee is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Kirk and Karen Felts of Orillia, ON, Keith Felts of Vancouver, BC and Bob Felts of Ontario; and seven grandchildren, Michael, RJ, Kyrsten, Megan, Rene, Brooke, and Taylor. She is also survived by her sisters, Terrie Griffiths of Calgary and Tracey (Steve) Bowthor of Bristol, U.K.; special aunts Bridie, Kay and Noreen; and many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and the U.K. She was predeceased by her brother Stuart and mother Patricia. A Celebration of Dee’s Life will be held at Queensland Community Centre (649 Queensland Drive S.E.) on Thursday, August 23, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
