Obituary of Anne Peters

Anne Peters of Calgary passed away on Friday, August 17, 2007 at the age of 87 years. Anne was born and raised in the Evansburg, AB area. She served overseas in WWII as W.A.C. (Women’s Army Core). After returning to Calgary, Anne met Larry and they were married. Their mutual interests were playing in dance bands. Anne was a strong member of St. James Anglican Church, especially the Prayer Healing Ministry. She was also involved in a leadership role with Girl Guides. For the past number years, Anne has suffered from Alzheimer disease and resided at the Brentwood Care Centre. Anne is survived by her beloved nephew and his wife, Lee and Susan Swalm who took constant care of her; sisters-in-law, Rita and Florence and other distant relatives. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence (Larry).
