Obituary of Gino Franciotti

Gino Franciotti, beloved husband Emma of Calgary, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, August 12, 2007 at the age of 77 years. Gino was born in Forcello, Teramo, Italy and in 1949 moved to Delia, Alberta where he farmed. In 1958 he moved to Calgary. On September 21, 1963 he married Emma. Gino worked in construction as a concrete finisher on many landmark buildings in Calgary. He will always be remembered for his wonderful attitude towards living, the wonderful family vacations we shared and dedication to his family and friends. He will be forever in our hearts. Besides his loving wife, Gino is survived by his son Domenico; three daughters and sons-in-law, Diana and Jamie Corbett, Anna Maria and John Muzzo and Filomena and Kevin Fox, all of Calgary; and eight grandchildren, who he deeply cherished. He is also survived by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Elia and Jimmy Sperandio, Maria and Guiseppe D?Orazio, and Teresa and Luigi DiDomenicantonio, all of Calgary; and numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews through out Canada and Italy. Gino was predeceased by his parents Domenico and Filomena; and his brother Giovanni.
