Obituary of Raymond Seller

Raymond (Ray) Seller, beloved husband of Louise of Calgary, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2007 at the age of 82 years. Ray was born in Calgary on August 27, 1924, and attended school at both Balmoral and Crescent Heights. At the age of 17, he joined the Royal Canadian Navy and served overseas for three and one half years, in the North Sea, Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Besides his loving wife Louise, Ray will be remembered by his two sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Wendy Seller of Parksville, BC and Reginald Seller of Calgary; a daughter and son-in-law Marion and Robert Mackie of Calgary; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, James, Jocelyn, Alisha, and Bradley; and three great-grandchildren, Kyle, Jarin and Emma. He was predeceased by his brother Robert. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. A private family Graveside Service will be held at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
