Obituary of Triestino Plava

Surrounded by love, Triestino Plava of Calgary passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, August 5, 2007 at the age of 92 years. Triestino was born in Avellino, Italy. He will always be lovingly remembered for his great kindness to his family and all his friends. Triestino is survived by his children, Ernesto (Iolanda) Plava and Marina (Mark) Shklanka; grandchildren, Nino (Jennifer), Carlo (Liliana), Carmelina (Ralph), Daniela (Nkomo) and Lucia; as well as five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by Carmela in 2001, his loving wife of sixty-five years.
