Obituary of Richard Irvine Burner

Life’s beauties and wonders cover such a range but just as the wind they too quickly change. With his son and his daughter by his side, Richard (Dick) Burner passed away, suddenly but quietly, on Sunday, July 29, 2007 at the age of 71 years. Predeceased by his wife Marie (his angel by his side), Dick leaves behind his son Craig, his daughter Kari and his ever-faithful dog and companion Cleo. Dick is also survived by his sister Dorothy, daughter-in-law Melanie, grandson Quinn, many nieces and nephews, and an extensive network of family and friends. The family wishes to thank the ICU at Rockyview General Hospital and respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes be made directly to The Calgary Humane Society, 4455 – 110th Avenue S.E., Calgary, AB T2C 2T7, Telephone: (403)205-4455, www.calgaryhumane.ca. Cleo knows her Daddy is safe in heaven and is now hoping she too can find a safe and loving home. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1600 Acadia Drive S.E.) on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1600 Acadia Drive S.E.) on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
