Obituary of Carmela Bruna Caponigro

Carmela Caponigro passed away peaceful at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, ON, on Friday, July 27, 2007 at the age of 78 years. She now has joined her beloved grandmother and uncle. Carmela was born in Gorizia, Italy and immigrated along with her sister Helen to Canada when she was twenty-one. She married, raised her children and lived the majority of her life in Calgary, AB while enjoying her final year in Toronto. She loved her trips to the casinos and bingo halls; she enjoyed caring for her immaculate flower gardens; and spending time with her family. She will be forever missed and loved by her children, Don and his daughters Celestina and Colleen; Loretta and her husband David and stepson Philip; Anthony and his wife Cindy and stepdaughter Santana; and her niece Dianne St. Mars and husband Rolland and their children Jesse and Jo-Lee.
