Obituary of Jean Mary Braga

Jean Mary Braga passed peacefully on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 through the grace of God. Jean was born on August 12, 1928 along-side her twin sister Joyce in Souris, MB to Wesley and Hazel Harding. On December 10, 1955 Jean married William Louise Braga and for the next fifty-two years she was a devoted wife, mother, sister, friend, and grandmother. Jean had a passion for gardening, reading, bowling, and lawn bowling. Jean’s talents will live on forever through her amazing needle point. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bill; two sons, Wesley of Edmonton and Tom and his wife Dawn and their children, Mathew, Christopher and Veronica; daughter Beverly and her children, Dylan and Alex; sisters, Marjorie and Joyce; brother-in-law Joe; as well as nieces, nephews and numerous friends. We will all miss her gentle touch and strength of spirit. Jean was such a loving and caring soul to all who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Monday, July 30, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
