Obituary of Teresa Corasiniti

Teresa Corasiniti of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the age of 89 years. Teresa was born on January 10, 1918 in Staletti, Italy to Rocco Amoruso and Assunta Caselinuovo. She married Antonio Corasiniti in Italy. In 1964 Antonio and two of their daughters came to Calgary, following Antonio’s sudden passing Teresa and their youngest daughter came to Calgary. She dedicated her life to raising her family. She had a passion to work outdoors, whether in the field, gardening or nurturing her flowers. Teresa had a great faith which was evident by her daily prayers and she was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Her love for her daughters remained strong throughout her life. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered. Teresa is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Maria and Tranquillo Pigato, Assunta and Antonio Ranieri and Gregorina and Gregorio Mungo all of Calgary; grandchildren, Marisa (Francesco) Costante, Diana (Victor) Hinton, Sandra Pigato, Greg (Rosanne) Ranieri, Peter (Lauree) Ranieri, Teresa (Joe) Secreto, and Giovanna (Giovanni) Loria; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers; three sisters; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Teresa was predeceased by her husband Antonio on April 25, 1963 and one brother.
