Obituary of Rebekah Ann-Marie Laslo

Rebekah Ann-Marie (Becky) Laslo, beloved daughter of Cathy and Johnny Laslo of Cochrane, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 20, 2007 at the age of 20 years. Becky was born January 6, 1987 in Calgary, Alberta. She received her education at Glenbow Elementary then was home schooled until grade eight when she attended Mitford Junior High. Becky later graduated from Cochrane High in 2005. Becky was a very passionate person and loved people. She worked part-time at IGA during high school and later began working full-time at Safeway in Cochrane. She always brightened the day of her customers and was a valued employee. Becky’s true love was her car and she would spend countless hours driving with her friends. She was a loving and caring daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend who will be deeply missed. Besides her loving parents, Cathy and Johnny, Becky is survived by her brother Ben; grandparents, Bev and Marie Cottrill, of North Bay, Ontairo and John and Jessie Laslo, of Calgary, Alberta. Becky will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
