Obituary of Violet Martyn

Violet (Vi) Isabel (nee Kellar), beloved wife of the late Wilfred Dowdall of Peterborough, ON, on Monday, July 16, 2007, at Chinook Hospice in Calgary, AB at the age of 76 years. Vi was born on September 7, 1930 and lived the majority of her life in Peterborough, ON. She was the oldest girl of fifteen children of Harold Kellar and Elizabeth Clements. She was married to Wilfred from 1948 until his passing in 1985. She recently moved to Airdrie, AB to be closer to her family. Vi was a devoted, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be remembered for her love of children. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Vi is survived by her two sons and two daughters, Robert Dowdall of London, Thomas Dowdall of Calgary, Shirley Sandham of London and Lori Kelk of Airdrie.
