Obituary of Allan Kinghorn Gall
Allan Kinghorn Gall, beloved husband of Doreen, of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Sunday July 15, 2007, at the age of 82.
Allan was born on August 17, 1924 in Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1948. He was employed with Canadian Western Natural Gas for thirty-eight years where he met Doreen and they were married on April 6, 1957. He was involved in the community, was an avid curler (up to three times per day), and was proud of his Scottish heritage; organizing the Rosedale United Church Burns Dinner for many years. He was an active man throughout his life, enjoyed helping others and was especially fond of spending time with his ‘pride and joy’; his grandchildren.
Besides his loving wife Doreen, Allan is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Trent and Tracy Gall; and grandsons Carter and Dawson, all of Calgary. He is also survived by his sister Frances of Scotland. He was predeceased by his brother Fred.
