Obituary of Jessie Isobel MacLean
Jessie MacLean of Calgary passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at the age of 80 years.
A native Calgarian, Jessie lived in Calgary until 1968, when the family moved to an acreage in DeWinton, AB. In 1996 she once again returned to Calgary where she finally settled. Jessie married Ian MacLean in 1949 and they had 3 children. She was also highly respected as a professional seamstress in the manufacturing industry.
Jessie is lovingly remembered by her daughter Brenda Jordan; her son and daughter-in-law Jim and Lorna MacLean; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law Bill Dennison; and her dear friend Gayllia Watson. Jessie was predeceased by her husband Ian; her son Rory; her sister Doris Dennison; and her brother Bill Williams.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
