Obituary of Cheryl Elaine James

It is with great sadness that the family of Cheryl James announce her passing on July 13, 2007 at the age of 54 years. Cheryl was born in Lethbridge, AB in 1953 to Tom and Dephi Greenway. In 1959 she was adopted by Jack Stabback and moved with her new family from Calgary to Ottawa. Cheryl later moved to Halifax, where she married George James, the father of her sons Justin and Christopher. She subsequently moved to Calgary where she finally settled. Cheryl is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Justin and Daphne, Christopher and Trista; her granddaughters Taylor and Keisha Lynn; her parents Jack and Delphi Stabback; her two brothers and sister-in-law Kent and Julie Stabback and Garry and Janet Stabback of Dartmouth, NS; and her three sisters and brothers-in-law Lynda Hall and Bob Furlong, Lynne and Ken Ranta of Edmonton, AB, and Susan and Bob Paul of Sherwood Park, AB. A Celebration of Cheryl’s life will be held in the home of Kent and Julie Stabback on Friday, July 20, 2007 from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
