Obituary of Antonio Imbrogno

Antonio Imbrogno, beloved husband of Maria Imbrogno, of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at the age of 83 years. Antonio immigrated to Calgary from Pietrafitta, Italy in 1958 in search of a better life for his young family. Maria and their sons joined him in 1959. Antonio worked for the City of Calgary’s Parks and Recreation Department until he retired in 1989. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Antonio loved nothing more than tending his garden and being surrounded by his grandchildren. Antonio will be dearly missed by Maria, his wife of fifty-four years; two sons and daughters-in-law, Sam and Barb Imbrogno and their children Julie and Jennifer, Franco and Luisa Imbrogno and their children, Anthony, Nicholas and Samantha. He will live on forever in their hearts. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, July 16, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
