Obituary of Norman Creighton

Norman (Norm) Russell Creighton of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at the age of 83 years. Norm was born in Ponoka, AB in 1923. He spent his youth in Wetaskiwin, and then joined the Royal Canadian Navy, following the War Norm had a career with Amoco Oil for thirty-six years and retired in 1985. He had a great passion for english bull dogs. Norm enjoyed playing hockey loved golfing and had three hole in ones at the Silver Springs Golf and Country Club where he was a member. Norm was married to Norene for thirty-six years. Norm is survived by his daughters and son-in-law Jan and Tom Lockhart of Calgary, AB; Laurie and Bruce Monroe of California; son and daughter-in-law Bill and Barbara Creighton of Red Deer, AB. He was predeceased by his wife Norene. Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 23, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
