Obituary of Maureen Denise Pereschitz
Maureen Pereschitz of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 9, 2007 at the age of 74.
Maureen was born in Harris, SK, on October 14, 1932. She grew up and received her business education in Saskatoon. After her marriage to Frank in 1957, they moved to Calgary to raise their family in the Winston Heights area, where she was actively involved for over forty-five years. Following twenty-seven years as a Teacher Assistant at Corpus Christi School, she recently retired.
Maureen will be dearly missed by her daughters, Lorraine (Scott) Brooks, Colette Pereschitz (George Groeneveld) and Charlene (Norbert) Baharally; sons Ronald (Jessica Henderson) and Robert; grandchildren, Shavonne and Sheldon Groeneveld, Alicia and Nicholas Baharally, Tanner Pereschitz and Tova Henderson. She is also survived by her sister Rita (Anthony) Brink; brothers Oswald Clarkson and Bernie (Betty) Clarkson; brother-in-law Conrad (Denise) Pereschitz; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Maureen was predeceased by Frank in 1999.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (640 – 19th Avenue N.W.) on Friday, July 13, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
