Obituary of Malcolm Kirkwood Stevens

Malcolm, beloved husband of Sarah (Sadie) passed away on Friday, July 6, 2007 at the age of 87 years, following a lengthy battle with kidney disease. Malcolm was born on March 11, 1920 in Calgary and resided here his entire life working for Alberta Government Telephones for forty-three years. Following retirement he enjoyed time spent golfing, RVing, especially with his grandchildren and was active in Amateur Radio. In later years, Malcolm rekindled his interest in photography and became the “resident photographer” at Carewest Royal Park. Malcolm is survived by Sarah, his wife of sixty-three years; his two daughters and sons-in-law, Janet Stevens and Arthur Owen, Judy and Len Pedersen; his son and daughter-in-law Rob and Pat; seven grandchildren, Ian, Jill, Glen, Jacqueline, Carrie, Chad and Tara; ten great-grandchildren; and his brother and sister-in-law Donald and Marg of Toronto, ON.
