Obituary of Glen James Davies

Glen James Davies, beloved husband of Laura Davies of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at the age of 53 years. Glen was born on December 1, 1953 in Calgary. He graduated from St. Francis High School and obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the U of C. Glen married Laura in 1980 and became the proud father of Paul in 1987. He was a great family man who loved to be with his wife and son, strongly supporting their endeavours and always being there when needed. Glen was an active member of the Canucks Rugby Club and also enjoyed golf, camping, and scuba diving. He was a very environmentally-minded man who believed strongly in the care of nature and wildlife. Besides his loving wife Laura, Glen is survived by his son Paul; mother Olanda (Vi) Davies; brothers, Lorne (Audrey) Davies of Vancouver, Wayne (Megan) Davies of Calgary; as well as several in-laws, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Vic in 1999.
