Obituary of Jerry Tumack

Jerry Wayne Tumack, born April 18, 1949, in Birch River, MB, beloved husband of Kathy and father of Tom and Natasha, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 surrounded by his family. Jerry grew up in Saskatchewan and moved to Calgary to attend SAIT and to build a life with his family. His first true love was his wife Kathy of thirty-three years who was his best friend and supporter. Jerry was dedicated to his faith and involved in his Church community. He will be remembered for his passion for the outdoors and his harmony with nature. Jerry was athletic and was happiest when fishing, hiking, skiing, biking or bow hunting. He faced cancer with the same courage with which he lived and will be dearly missed by his wife, his children, his mother Anne and his extended family of many. He continues his adventures in the arms of the Lord and in the company of his father Alex and sister Shirley. A Memorial Service will be held at St. David’s United Church (3303 Capitol Hill Crescent N.W.) on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Inn from the Cold Society, St. David’s United Church, 3303 Capitol Hill Crescent N.W., Calgary, AB T2M 2R2, Telephone: (403) 284-2276.
