Obituary of Dale William Swyripa

Dale William Swyripa (Uncle Cookie), beloved husband of Jennifer, of Calgary, left us suddenly on Friday, June 29, 2007, at the age of 39 years. Dale was born on December 12, 1967, in Edmonton. He obtained his degree as a Geologist from the University of Alberta and then married Jennifer on August 19, 1995. He began his career with Merlyn Petroleum in Calgary where he has worked for many years. Dale was a loving and devoted father who had tremendous pride in his son’s accomplishments and was always there to support their endeavours. Besides his loving wife Jennifer; he is survived by his sons Matthew, Thomas and Lucas; parents Hilda and Marshall Swyripa of Edmonton; mother and father-in-law Mary Anne and Stephen Fryzuk of Courtenay, BC; sister-in-law Sharon (Kevin) Reese; brother Dean (Nadine) Swyripa; brother-in-law Doug and their families.
