Obituary of Douglas Henry Doucett

Douglas Doucett was born on November 29, 1961, and passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at the age of 45 years after a lengthy courageous battle with cancer. Doug is survived by his wife and soul mate Vicki; two stepchildren Derrick (11) and Ashley (7); mother and father-in-law Jim and Doris Lockhart; brother and sister-in-law Wade and Debbie Lockhart, and daughters Kaylyn and Breanna. He is also survived by his parents, three siblings and numerous family and friends. Doug met Vicki in October 2002, and married his soul mate who was his life in March 2006. He was in the plumbing trade for 27 years and his passion for life was contagious. He was involved in and loved all competitive sports. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten by his family, friends, and pets. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
