Obituary of Derrick R Cox

Derrick Ronald Cox, beloved husband of Marlene of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at the age of 71 years. Derrick was born in London, England on January 25, 1936. He and Marlene were married on June 11, 1960 and moved to Calgary on September 9, 1974 to make a new home. Derrick was a creative handyman, energetic square dancer, and was always willing to help others. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed. Besides his loving wife of 47 wonderful years, Marlene, he is survived by his son Trevor and wife Shelley, and their sons Logan and Sean, all of Okotoks; and daughter Arlene and husband Douglas Dunscombe of Calgary. Derrick is also remembered by his sister Enid Lush (Peter) of England, and nieces, nephews, and extended family in England.
