Obituary of Eleanor McPherson

Eleanor (Norie) Elizabeth McPherson of Calgary, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2007 at the age of 54 years. Norie was born on October 30, 1952 in Edmonton Alberta. She received her early education in Dinsmore, Saskatchewan, and graduated high school from Luther College in Regina. Continuing on to SAIT Norie achieved her diploma in Broadcasting. Her career began with the CHQR and CFCN radio stations after which she worked in advertising and commercial production with various companies in Calgary. Norie enjoyed her quiet time with family and friends. Always loving and devoted she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Norie is survived by her father Duncan McPherson of Calgary, AB; her aunts Doreen McPherson of Saskatoon, SK and Vivien Douglas of Calgary, AB; her uncle Lyle (Yvette) McPherson of Saskatoon, SK; as well as several cousins and many friends. Norie was predeceased by her mother Eleanor in 1995.
