Obituary of Gordon Linley Guy

Gordon made his transition to the spiritual world on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the age of 89 years. Gordon was born in Claresholm, AB and lived most of his life in Calgary. He served for five years in the Air Force although the majority of his working career was spent in insurance, real estate and with the City of Calgary. He loved the mountains and trailering and he was also a member of the Gyro Club. He is the beloved husband of Dickie; loving father of Shonnie (Richard) Dean and Debbie (Rod) Kormos and is also survived by their mother Mickie Parkins; four step-children; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Gordon’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Karen Chase, Presider.
