Obituary of Lola Mae Davidson

Lola Mae Davidson fell asleep in death on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, and will remain in Jehovah God’s care until her resurrection when we will be with her again. She is survived by her husband Garth; sons Brian (Ruth), Lawrie (Laurie), and Leigh; daughters Bonnie (John) Preston and Barb (Keith) Rae; brother Harvey (Zora) Clausen; grandchildren Matthew (Tammie), Benjamin (Marcia), Andrew (Darla), Shawn, Stephanie, Samantha, and Lisa. Lola was born in 1932 to Julius and Lula Clausen at their home in Holborn, in Stony Plain District of Alberta. Lola was about 10 when she first caught Garth’s eye, and years later they were married on September 4, 1954. They moved from the Edmonton area to Vernon, BC in August 1964 where they resided until moving to Calgary in 1997. Lola and Garth were both baptised as Jehovah’s Witnesses on April 15, 1967. A Memorial Service for Lola will be held at the Calgary Kingdom Hall Center (2900 14th Avenue N.E.) on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
