Obituary of Lesley Ann Manywounds

Lesley Manywounds beloved partner of Jake Quewezance of Tsuu T’ina, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2007 at the age of 49 years. Lesley treasured the time that she spent with her family. She always lent a helping hand and she had a great sense of humour. Lesley loved to sing and dance and enjoyed beading and reading during her free time. Besides her loving partner Jake Quewezance she is survived by her daughters, Kelita (Larry Jr.) and Lily and son Kerry; mother Muriel Ann Manywounds; sister Terry Severight; brothers, Peter (Vi) Manywounds and Dean (Holly) and by a grandson Elias Manywounds. She will also be lovingly remembered by her nephews and nieces, Beric, Caleb, Kristal, Lance, Brett, Christopher, Melissa, Keshia, Teddy and Zachary (Tressa); grandnephew Marcus Manywounds; cousins, Laura Manywounds (Carl) and Jim Manywounds and by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. The family apologizes if they have missed mentioning any family members. Lesley was predeceased by her father Peter; her grandparents, Ralph and Isabel Steinhauer; by her paternal grandmother Annie Manywounds and by her nephew Jody Severight. Wake Services will be held at the residence of Jake Quewezance of Tsuu T’ina Nation on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held the residence of Jake Quewezance of Tsuu T’ina Nation on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 1:00p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
