Obituary of A. Raymond Barraclough
Ray Barraclough of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at the age of 90 years.
Ray was born and lived in Calgary all his life and was a proud Calgarian. His main career was as a Draftsman with Chevron until his retirement. Ray was very active in the Briar Hill Community Association, helping to build the community centre. He loved being outdoors and taking full advantage of the mountains, with numerous trips to Banff.
Ray is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Wayne and Marilyn; grandchildren Kim and Anthony Perkins; brother and sister-in-law Harold and Lil Barraclough of Abbotsford, BC; sister and brother-in-law Joan and Earle Gray of Lindsay, ON; as well as numerous extended family. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy in 2004.
A Celebration of Ray’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle, N.W.) on Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
