Obituary of Dawn Pearl Borger

Dawn Borger, beloved wife of the late Bill Borger, of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Mount Royal Care Centre on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at the age of 80 years. Dawn spent her childhood in Barnwell, AB. Dawn and Bill married in Lethbridge in 1947 and then moved to Calgary in 1949. Bill worked at his construction business, and Dawn had three children and volunteered at numerous charities. They golfed as often as they could, and enjoyed their family. When the kids got bigger and Bill retired, they spent their winters in Scottsdale, traveled to Europe and Australia, played bridge with their friends and watched fifty-one years of a truly happy marriage go by. Bill passed away in 1999, and Dawn struggled with health problems until her passing. Dawn will be lovingly remembered by her three sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Elaine Borger, Bob and Kathy Borger and David and Grace Borger. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and by other extended family members.
