Obituary of Doreen Blanche Emslie

Doreen Blanche Emslie, of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at the age of 75 years. Doreen was born in Mimico, Ontario on May 20, 1932. She worked as a florist for many years at Woodwords and Safeway in Edmonton until 1998 when she moved to Calgary to be closer to her beloved family. Doreen is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law Mark and Beverly Blessman of Calgary and brother and sister-in-law Ken and Shirley Carr of Toronto; stepchildren Bryan Emslie of Calgary, Jane Smith of Victoria and Sharon Emslie of Vancouver. She was predeceased by her parents Marjorie and John Carr and brother Jack Carr. A Celebration of Doreen’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, June 14, 2007 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
