Obituary of Erika Greschuk

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Erika (Roni) Greschuk, on Thursday June 7, 2007, at the age of 65 years. Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a long and courageous battle with ALS. Roni is survived by her loving husband Albert; children Shelley Grimm (Lance Touchette), Sheldon Grimm (Denise), Mason and Brandy Greschuk; and grandchildren Amanda Grimm, Kail Touchette and Rhea Grimm. She is also survived by her mother Adele Haberer; sisters Emmie Danielson (Harvey), and Rose Chapman (Bruce); brother Werner Haberer (Vanessa); as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Walter Knoll; step-father Fred Haberer; and sister Trudy Doberstein. A Celebration of Roni’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday June 12, 2007, at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. Our family would like to give special acknowledgement to her special friend and caregiver Monette Nablo who we have all come to love as family.
