Obituary of John Dyer

John Frederick Dyer, beloved husband for sixty-three years of Doreen Dyer of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the age of 87 years. John was born on February 29, 1920 in Edmonton and was raised and received his education there. John married Doreen Barnes on September 13, 1944 in Edmonton. He began his career with the Muttart Organization and later moved to Calgary to work for Engineered Homes, from where he retired twenty five years ago. Besides his loving wife Doreen, John is also survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Lynn Dyer; Bill and Dianne Dyer, all of Calgary; his grandchildren Brent Dyer; Colin Dyer; Susan Dyer; William J. Dyer; Andrew Dyer; Katharine Dyer and Michael Dyer. He is also survived by his nephew Rick Dyer of Edmonton; brother-in-law George Barnes of Edmonton; and sister-in-law Pearl Easton of Edmonton. John was predeceased by his son Allen in 2006 and his brother Henry Dyer.
