Obituary of Peter Frohn

Peter Frohn of Calgary passed away peacefully at home, in his daughter Sylvia’s care, on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the age of 97 years. Peter lived a full and adventurous life. He was born in Holland, raised in Indonesia and in 1958 immigrated to Canada with his young family. Peter spent his later years at Hunting Hills Manor in Calgary where he met many wonderful people. Peter is survived by his three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and John Nash of Ottawa, Sylvia and Louie Miotti of Calgary and Yvonne and Richard Green of Vancouver; four grandchildren, Anita Miotti (Ty Semaka), Paul (Anna) Miotti, and Misha and Marika Green; two great-grandchildren, Béla Dante Semaka and Juliano-Cruz Miotti. He was predeceased by his wife of forty-seven years, Wilhelmina Frohn. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at Ascension Catholic Church (1100 Berkshire Boulevard N.W.) on Sunday, June 10, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ascension Catholic Church on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. The family would like to thank the staff and home care support team, especially Juanita and Jean, for taking such good care of Peter over the past year.
