Obituary of Josephine Watson

Josephine (Granny) Watson peacefully passed away on Monday, May 7, 2007 in Victoria, BC. Born on May 22, 1917 near LaFleche, SK, one of ten children, she lived most of her life in Calgary (Bowness). Josephine was predeceased by Howard, her loving husband of fifty years. Devoted to her family, Josephine was much-loved and is survived by her son Wayne (Jo-Ann); grandchildren, Misty (Kim) and Sean (Ashley); her great-grandchildren, Aiden and Caileigh; and her sister Helen. Granny adopted Jo-Ann’s family into her heart and home and will be deeply missed by all members of the Barr family. Wayne, Jo-Ann and Granny especially recognize and thank Vicky and Rick Sinclair and their children Amber, Courtenay and Derrick for their years of love and devotion to Granny. Our “Granny” loved her home and garden. She was a precious soul who always had a twinkle in her eye. Her legacy is the love, laughter, good food and fond memories that we will each cherish. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, June 15, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
