Obituary of Irene Lange

Irene Lange, beloved wife of Kenneth Lange of Calgary, passed away on Sunday June 3, 2007, at the age of 84 years. Irene was born on November 18, 1922, in Rentschkau, Poland, and immigrated to Canada in 1953. She married Kenneth on March 10, 1956 in Winnipeg. They later moved to Calgary where Irene was an active member of Thornhill Baptist Church (German Baptist Church). Besides her loving husband Kenneth, Irene is survived by her three sons and a daughter-in-law, Norbert and Sharon, Ron and Harald; grandsons Jason and Jeff; and sister Elfrieda Stenzel, all of Calgary. Funeral Services will be held at Thornhill Baptist Church (128 Tache Avenue N.W.) on Friday June 8, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
